I am thrilled to announce a significant milestone for our company. Dapra Marking is now DM Solutions.

I can assure you that this step is a positive move forward. For many years, Dapra Corporation has represented an overlapping model in supplying both DAPRA — our self-manufactured indexable cutting tools — and Dapra Marking, distributed part marking equipment. At times, this has brought confusion about who we are as a company, the way we conduct business, and the value we provide.

As we continue to invest in our businesses, we want each to be laser-focused on its core model while ensuring our intent is clear to the markets we serve.

Your support and partnership has been key to our success, but we understand that this change may bring some questions. Here are a few I’d like to address:

Will DMS continue to operate under Dapra Corporation?

Yes. DMS is a division brand (dba) that will allow all billing, payments, and legal associations to remain with Dapra Corporation.

Why did we change?

We’re entering a new stage in our growth journey. The next chapter in our story is about reaching new markets and scaling our business. Evolving DMS allows us to present the business in a new way to new customers and create an environment in which each business can develop independently, ultimately simplifying how we do business.

Will any operations be changing?

DMS has the same ownership and operational structure as Dapra Marking. Beyond the look, feel, and expanded product range this transition should be mostly unnoticed. The same team that has been here is still here to support you as we continue to move forward. Although our email address will change, our phone number will not.

What does this mean for you?

Expanded Product Offering: New partnerships will allow DMS to bring new cutting-edge technologies to the market including laser cutters, laser welders, and other fabrication equipment.

Operational Excellence: Provides a clear and defined focus distinct from DMS’s sister division, DAPRA, which focuses on indexable cutting tools.

Continued Customer Focus: Our team is focused on ensuring that you receive the same amazing support and leadership in applications.

The Team You Already Know and Trust: Our team is the same one you’ve come to know and trust. We know that our team will grow over time, but today, our team has not changed.
